I was born in the Sheikdom of Kuwait when it was still a British Protectorate.

I am the founder of a children’s charity Act Against Bullying and the co-founder of Kindness Day UK.

In the UK General Election of 2015 I stood in Nottingham North for the Conservative Party.

My husband of thirty-seven years is an ex-pilot and we have two grown daughters and one granddaughter.
